Islam’s compatibility with science remains a prominent topic in public discourse. Thus, USIM’s model of Integration of Naqli and Aqli which comprises four mustawa (levels); ayatization, comparison, adaptation, and integration, is introduced and mapped into our curriculum structure to produce an excellent generation and knowledgeable society. This book presents the compilation of articles regarding the integration of the revealed knowledge of Islam with rational science, specifically that of chemical science. The book consists of 10 chapters that can be divided into two main parts; Part I on Chemistry of Food and Health, and Part II on Chemical Technology. All chapters in this book are written to expose the understanding of the Chemical Science theme which combines and integrates science, the Quran, and Sunnah.
