This book exposes the development of ceramic reinforced metal for bone implant application consisting of wollastonite, hydroxyapatite, and titanium. Implants are the common option for bone repair and replacement due to accidents or major injuries. Nowadays, the cost of bone and hip implants is very high may reach up to 6.8 million USD per year. Thus, a novel composite material produced from natural resources and fabricated using a reliable and low-cost powder Injection molding (PIM) process with proven mechanical endurance and biocompatibility was highlighted in this book. It is highly expected that the cost of implants will be greatly reduced by the PIM process with higher durability (longer performance) than the existing commercialized SS and titanium implants. Therefore, in this work, all the experimental studies related to the fabrication of titanium/wollastonite/hydroxyapatite are presented in an easy-to-understand format. For that reason, the facts and knowledge regarding implant fabrication could be extended not only to the researchers but to all levels of the community regardless of any background.
