This book is a compilation of 9 selected papers that are separated into two parts, i.e. Part 1- Construction Contract, and Part 2- Contract Administration. Each part reflects the focus and contents of the paper that addresses some of the current issues in building construction. The first part of this book presents selected topics on the development of life cycle cost (LCC) as an economic assessment technique and other aspects of cost control for building projects in the construction industry. These selected topics also present the resemblances and differences between Shari'ah compliant and conventional with regard to a construction contracts in the Malaysian construction industry.
